A glass painter and conservator since 2000, I bring over 25 years of experience working at the intersection of heritage craftsmanship and contemporary design.
My work is rooted in the traditions of stained glass—particularly detailed glass painting—paired with a sensitive, bespoke approach to each commission.
Working from my studio at home in a North Yorkshire village, each piece is painted and kiln-fired by hand. This setting, alongside an enduring influence from the surrounding landscape and historic glass traditions, informs a practice that is both considered and deeply personal.
I trained in-house have spent over 20 years as a Glass Painter and Conservator at Martin Johnson & Co (York) Ltd, as well as time in a private stained glass studio in Christchurch, New Zealand. This depth of experience has instilled a strong respect for the discipline of the craft, the integrity of materials, and the importance of creating work that will endure.
I hold an MA in Fine Arts, Arts Management & Heritage Studies from the University of Leeds.
